A wide and soft beach that stretches for almost five kilometers, wide in some points up to 200 meters; a limpid blue sea, whose depth degrades gently, such giving confidence even to the most inexperienced swimmers. The width of this beach is such that even in the periods of greatest turnout, the bathers find space.

The main attraction of Tonfano is the pier: built for tourism and recreation, it is 380 meters long, 214 at sea, and it is 5.64 wide. The pier was inaugurated on June 14th, 2008. On the pier there are various sculptures, in honor of the artistic vocation of the city of Pietrasanta; ends in a decagonal square with a magnificent fountain in the middle.

The cathedral, covered in white Carrara marble, has three naves, also covered in white marble. Its three doors are characterized by marble bas-reliefs, with a bezel. On the central door we can admire the Crucifixion, while on the sides we see the Deposition and Resurrection.

Arrived in the laboratories of Pietrasanta in the seventies, Botero was conquered by the skill of the stonecutters and the excellence of the foundries, which he entrusted with the creation of his bronze statues, which we can admire on the streets of the city.

Seaside resort overlooking the Ligurian Sea, takes its name from the homonymous fort which stands in the center of the city, commissioned by the Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo to defend the landing, and the marbles from the Apuan Alps, not far away, were transported to the pier and then took the sea route.

The Capannina di Franceschi, simply called La Capannina, is a historical place of Forte dei Marmi in the province of Lucca, very famous in the sixties and seventies. The disco is still active and is open all year round: a must for those coming to Versilia.

Known throughout the world for its Carnival, it boasts interesting buildings, starting from the famous Torre del Lago which owes its name to a tower that has now disappeared, built to guard the lake of Massaciuccoli and where today is the villa and the museum of Puccini.
